Developing Strategic Leaders for Riyad Bank
A bespoke executive education programme designed to strengthen strategic thinking, decision-making and leadership capabilities for more than 100 senior managers across Saudi Arabia.

The Challenge
Emeritus sought to develop a highly interactive leadership module for senior managers at Riyad Bank that would strengthen strategic thinking, decision-making and leadership capabilities while addressing the challenges facing today’s banking sector.
Our Contribution
Led by Dr Theocharis Papadopoulos, Negroponte designed the complete curriculum for Module Two of the programme and delivered it across multiple cohorts in Riyadh, Jeddah and Dammam.
The bespoke module combined academic rigour with practical application, covering strategic thinking, behavioural decision-making, systems thinking, leadership, emotional intelligence, communication and leading organisational change.
Participants engaged in simulations, case discussions, collaborative exercises and practical activities designed to encourage immediate application in the workplace.
The Impact
More than 100 senior managers successfully completed the programme across three major Saudi cities.
The engagement demonstrated Negroponte’s ability to design and deliver customised executive education programmes that combine evidence-based management with highly engaging, experiential learning to create lasting organisational impact.
